Render curved walls, tanks, man holes- Challenge Accepted!!!

Over the last few weeks our team has been rendering all over and underground in Far North Queensland.

They have being extremely busy working on transforming luxury apartments in Port Douglas, housing estates in Trinity Beach, a medical centre in the Tablelands, Schools in Redlynch and Smithfield, The Cairns Esplanade, residential houses in Edmonton, water tanks in Yorkeys Knob and down man holes in Cairns North.

Yep down a man hole!!! Our whole team are trained to work in confined spaces. This type of work is not for the faint-hearted. Poppy (leading hand) and Santa (apprentice) were the first ones to go down the man whole. Both are fearless and take great pride in their work (As do all our team members).

Our apprentice Santa was just recently awarded with Employer of the Quarter Award.

Two of our most experienced lads and foremen Paul Humphries (Curly) and Glenn Harding (The God Father) have been showing off their skills and talent by rendering curved walls. A very hard task to do with a rectangular float. 😊

And to end our week this week we had most of our team apply epoxy resin and sand mix to the internal shell of Yorkey's Knob reservoir tank. Even Mark Fletcher was in the tank after having surgery on his hand!!! (Ouch)

Our team loves a challenge and this week was another rewarding week of nailing those challenges.

With that said, I am very happy to share with you that we are in the TOP 5 for the FNQ Training Awards for small businesses. Stay tuned for the updates on this journey....
