Skilling Queenslanders- Mark Fletcher is leading the way

Updated: Sep 8, 2022

Mark Fletcher is leading the way when it comes to skilling Queenslanders in the workforce.

Mark who is a well experienced trainer on the field for professional soccer, prisons and of course rendering along with his mangers Ursula Donnellan who has over 10 years of international management experience in training staff members with diverse cultures and backgrounds and his right hand man Paul Humphries of 15 years are all passionate about training and development.

In 2019, 2021 and 2022 they were finalists for the Queensland Training Awards for FNQ.

Just recently their Apprentice Santa Gurung (Now Qualified) won the Apprentice of Year for Master Builders FNQ 2022 and Dhan Gurung was a finalist for 2019 Equity VET Student of the Year for the Queensland Training Awards.

Last night the Mark Fletcher Team was invited to Centacare FNQ Graduation Event for Skilling Queenslanders for Work Trainees. Two of the 20 trainees recently joined our team - Htoo Khaing and Chhabi Rai graduated with a Certificate 1 in Construction. We are thrilled with their work ethic, enthusiasm and commitment.

As Mark Fletcher has employed 4 migrants and refugees from Centacare FNQ he was a guest of honour and gave a cracking speech about how employing Dhan, Santa, Htoo Khaing and Chhabi have been a great asset to the company and acknowledged the tremendous support provided by Centacare FNQ and his fellow team members.
